Hometown Hero - Joseph Maclean

Hometown Hero Week 14 Winner - Joseph Maclean

Congratulations to our Hometown Hero week 14 winner, Joseph Maclean! At the start of the pandemic, Joseph placed a Craigslist ad and an ad in the local newspaper to run errands, gather groceries, and deliver essential supplies to vulnerable groups on Maui. He also donated his own supplies including toilet paper to kupuna in our community. He has a heart of gold and continues to deliver goods and run errands free of charge for those in need throughout the pandemic.

Thank you Joseph for the dedication you have shown to our community. Through your generosity and selfless acts of giving we are reminded of the importance of compassion for others and that true aloha spirit lives on in Maui County, even through the toughest times. You are a real life hero and we are forever grateful.
