Hometown Hero Week 31 Winner - Heidi Taogoshi
Congratulations to our Hometown Hero week 31 winner, Heidi Taogoshi! Heidi is the nurse supervisor at the Maui District Health Office and has been leading the COVID-19 vaccination efforts at the UH Maui College location, Roselani Place, MCCC, and our isolation and quarantine site. In addition to managing her nursing staff she also oversees the Hawaii National Guard personnel who conduct contact tracing of COVID-19 cases. Occasionally, she is tasked with being a spokesperson on the Mayor’s 4:00 press conference.
Thank you Heidi for the dedication you have shown to our community. Your hard work has not gone unnoticed and you truly deserve the recognition for your efforts. You are a real life hero and we are forever grateful.
