Lanai Community Hospital and Kula Hospital both have openings for Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) and are offering PAID training to help you earn your Nurse Aide Certification! The new class is open for applicants now and starts its first day for students on July 26, 2021. The deadline to apply is June 11, 2021.

The program is open to anyone with a high school diploma or GED certificate. This next training cohort will take place at Kula Hospital over six weeks on Fridays and Saturdays. Accepted students will be paid for the duration of the training and after successful completion will be offered full-time employment at their choice of Lanai Community Hospital or Kula Hospital as a Certified Nurse Aide.

Applicants must have graduated high school or earned a GED. Other program requirements include excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal relations, and customer service, as well as a demonstrated ability to provide culturally sensitive and age-appropriate care. Applicants must also be at least 18 years old.

If you or anyone you know is looking for a new and exciting career, this is your chance to take advantage of this opportunity to earn while you learn. The course is only six weeks and only twice a week which provides you the opportunity to still maintain another job or other commitments while you complete your training.
