National Volunteer Week

Maui Memorial Medical Center Auxiliary Volunteers

To our wonder volunteers and auxilians,

As we observe National Volunteer Week (April 18-24), Maui Healthy would like to honor your efforts and express our gratitude for everything you do.

Just a few weeks ago, many of your warm smiles and beautifully adorned blue vests were re-introduced to our patients as they walked through our doors to receive their covid-19 vaccines. Your presence was immediately felt as many staff and community members gravitated to you with appreciation to welcome you back.

Volunteering is a choice — a noble choice — that you exceptional men and women have made on behalf of our organization. You strengthen our organizations mission of continuously improving the patient experience and help share the spirit of aloha to all you meet.

I want you to know how much we we’ve missed you and look forward to seeing you all back again in our hallways and beyond.

So, as we observe National Volunteer Week this year, we thank for your service, empathy, and compassion — and for your selfless dedication to our patients and our mission.

Mahalo.
