Celebrating Nurses Week and Hospital Week 2021 Send a Note of Gratitude

Mahalo NuiSo much has changed over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic. But some things have remained constant - like the dedication, strength, and resiliency of all our health care workers here on Maui and across the globe.

As we celebrate Nurses Week and Hospital Week 2021, we take time to reflect on what it has been like for health care workers since the beginning of last year who have worked selflessly and tirelessly to care for our loved ones, and each other.

Through it all, these individuals have met each challenge with compassion and perseverance, leading the way for healing, and healing together.

We have also been overwhelmed by the support from our community, our family, friends, neighbors and even strangers, local businesses, and other groups and organizations, who gave anything and everything they could, to our health care heroes. Your generosity is a daily reminder of the love and aloha inherent in this community.

Particularly special have been the messages of support and gratitude and in celebration of Nurses Week and Hospital Week this May, it is another chance to recognize the incredible work our staff has done over the past year.

Send a Mahalo or Thank You

Please take just a moment to send a MAHALO or thank you - a simple note of gratitude to a nurse, doctor, respiratory therapist or caseworker, engineer, housekeeper, phone operator, or one of the many other heroes here at Maui Health, or across Hawaii and the nation. A few words go a long way to make someone smile, lift their spirit, and make their day.
