Thank you to Kalama Intermediate’s 6th grade students for all of these touching letters written to express their gratitude for our hard-working healthcare heroes. Read them below:
Dear Intensive Care Unit Workers,
Thank you for taking care of the sick. I know that times like this can get crazy and hard, but always know that we are in this together. I know that I'm just a little middle schooler and can’t make a difference like you guys, but I hope that this letter helps you carry on. I believe in you! Make sure that you take care of your mental health too! Best to you guys and stay healthy! P.S. Don’t worry I’m saying home and safe! #socialdistancing

Dear Nurses & Doctors , and other hospital workers,
Thank you for all you have done for people around the world. Your work is greatly appreciated worldwide. Many more people and families would be gone if it was not for you. Know the long shifts and hours you have been working have not been for nothing and this pandemic will hopefully be over soon, so you can get back to your families and loved ones. Thank you for saving people that are covid-19. I know you guys are saving people from the beginning if crona. Please save more people from not being the covid-19. Dear Hospital Janitors, Hospital Cafeteria Workers and Intensive Care Unit Workers,
Thank you for cleaning the entire hospital to slow the spread of covid-19. Thank you cafeteria workers for feeding the sick uncontaminated food full of vitamins to help kill the virus. Thank you intensive care workers for helping the very sick get better and making the last days of a dying person just a bit better.
