"I Am Walking For" Selfie Challenge – Kokua 4 Kokonuts

Foundation news | Tuesday, October 3, 2017

Many of us are either affected by or touched by Breast Cancer. It touches close to home, affecting our loved ones and people we know in our community — our mothers, sisters, aunties, cousins, friends, neighbors…and sometimes even ourselves.

According to the Susan G. Komen 2015 Community Profile Report, Maui County has a higher incidence of Breast Cancer than any other county in the state, and a death rate higher than any other neighbor island. Which is why we need your help!

WE CHALLENGE YOU to take an "I Am Walking For" (SELF)ie/(US)ie to help us spread the word and join us in our efforts in saving lives and making a real impact in the fight against breast cancer in our community. Post your photo(s) on your social media page(s) and remember to tag us at the following:

Instagram: @mauihospitalfoundation
Use hashtags: #MMMCFoundation, #kokua4kokonuts
