Maui Health System Transition
As our transition date of July 1 quickly approaches, the staffs of both MMMC and Kaiser are working diligently to ensure a seamless transition of management. Employee Town Hall meetings have been held at MMMC, Kula Hospital, and Lana'i Community Hospital, new systems are being put into place, and staff trainings are being scheduled. We will continue to keep you updated on the transition progress as we make our way toward July 1. Mahalo to our awesome hospital employees who are all juggling increased workloads, a high patient census, and additional training requirements. As always, MMMC will continue to be a community hospital open to everyone, regardless of insurance status. We look forward to an exciting new partnership with Maui Health System and Kaiser Permanente!
