Jessica Acop, BSN, RN, MBA (Program Director) Jessica was born and raised in Baguio City, Philippines. Jessica has over 17 years of Nursing experience in Pediatric and Adult Emergency and Trauma. In the past 11 years she served in various leadership roles namely Nurse Manager for Quantas Healthcare Management, Director of Education and Staff Development for Nexus Children’s Hospital, Director of Operations and subsequently Chief Nursing Officer for Village Emergency Centers in Houston, Texas. She has a successful track record of opening and operating multiple Emergency Departments simultaneously. Jessica is a firm believer in going above and beyond for each and every patient and she brings this Philosophy to the Wound Care Clinic. To have the ability to embrace change and find the knowledge in yet to be charted waters is one of her unique qualities. A positive outlook and a kind soul have been Jessica’s assets in her long career dedicated to service. She claims she is living her dream of living and working in Maui. |

Mandy, LPN (Hyperbaric Technician) Mandy was born and raised in Kihei. She just recently moved back home to the Island after several years of working in California. Mandy has over 16 years of experience as an LPN. Her true passion is working with animals and children. She has a passion for providing compassionate and quality care, and she has played a large part in helping the team run more efficiently. In her spare time, Mandy enjoys spending time with her friends and family and volunteering for various causes. In the near future, Mandy would like to pursue her long-life dream of being a Psychologist. |

Jasmine, RN (Wound Care RN) Jasmine was born in Oahu and raised in the small island of Lana’i. She came to Maui as a High school student and fell inlove with the Island and community of Maui. She has over 12.5 years of nursing experience in different settings namely; Hale makua Long term care, Sub-acute rehabilitation unit at hale makua, Kaiser hospital nurse case management, Kaiser Home health, and Wound care. She also served in various leadership roles, as Kaiser RN hospital case management, Unit supervisor on the sub-acute rehabilitation unit at hale makua and Charge nurse at Kula Hospital. Jasmine loves wound care and thinks of it as the “arts and crafts’ of Nursing. Jasmine brings empathy, an easygoing communication style, and a sweet sense of humor, making it easy for her to talk to patients and family members. Jasmine’s plan for the near future is to get her wound care certification and to complete her Bachelors of science in Nursing degree. |

Amber, RN (Wound Care RN) A local of Maui, Amber has been a Nurse for 10 years. During her career, Amber has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including Family Practice and ENT/ Allergy Clinic, Acute Rehab Hospital, Hospice, Med-Surg, Mother Baby and Nursery and Wound Care. She served as a Charge Nurse in these settings for over 5 years. Amber’s leadership and experience in various different settings has earned her a great reputation, and she takes pride in doing everything she can to help her patients. From her love of the healthcare profession, to her empathetic nature as a driving force, she remains steadfast in her abilities and passionate for Patient Care. In the near future, Amber’s dream is to be able to step into a Nurse Manager role to help advocate for patients and nurses on multiple levels. In addition, she is planning to complete her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree. |
